Scottish Activist Legal Project launched for weekend of protests

The Scot­tish Activist Legal Project formed in Octo­ber 2009. It draws on the expe­ri­ence peo­ple have of pro­vid­ing legal sup­port for direct action at Faslane, the G8 2005 and many oth­er sit­u­a­tions.

The Scot­tish Activist Legal Project formed in Octo­ber 2009. It draws on the expe­ri­ence peo­ple have of pro­vid­ing legal sup­port for direct action at Faslane, the G8 2005 and many oth­er sit­u­a­tions.

The Scot­tish Activist legal Project will be involved in pro­vid­ing legal sup­port for the anti-NATO protests in Edin­burgh from the 13th-17th of Novem­ber and the anti-SDL protests in Glas­gow on the 14th of Novem­ber.

Legal Observers will be around dur­ing the protests. They will be iden­ti­fi­able as hav­ing orange flo­res­cent jack­ets with “Legal Observ­er” writ­ten on the back. They will be hand­ing out bust cards dur­ing the demo.
