Lakenheath Peace Camp: 1st-6th April

Hel­lo EF!ers, this is your offi­cial invite to Lak­en­heath Inter­na­tion­al Peace Camp — April 1st — 6th with an EF! Night shift on April 5th from 5pm.

Bring what you need…sleeping bags, small tent (altho some shel­ter avail­able), food to share, songs and poet­ry. More info on what to expect on lakenheathallianceforpeace.org.uk

We ask folks to read the EF! anti oppres­sion state­ment and take a covid test before attend­ing, wear a mask both to pro­tect each oth­er from germs and sur­veil­lance — Our immuno-com­pro­mised friends are attend­ing and we got­ta look after each oth­er <3

Wednesday 1st April: Set Up

Set­ting up the camp and the vig­il out­side the main gate at ‘RAF’ Lak­en­heath

Thursday 2nd April: Outreach Day,

Leaflet­ing in Bran­don and pos­si­bly oth­er near­by towns.

Friday 3rd April: Environment Day

The impact of mil­i­tarism of the envi­ron­ment with speak­ers and work­shops.

Saturday 4th April: Give Peace a Chance (12noon – 3pm)

Peo­ple will be arriv­ing from var­i­ous parts of the coun­try includ­ing coach­es from Lon­don. We will have var­i­ous speak­ers dis­cussing the issues around the return of nuclear weapons to the UK and oth­er issues relat­ed to US bases in the UK.

Sunday 5th April: Coming Together – Rising Up

Mak­ing the links between dif­fer­ent cam­paigns.

EF! Night shift at the gate from 5pm till sun rise

Monday 6th April: Grand Finale – Visions Into Action

With net­work­ing dur­ing the camp we will turn ideas into action. From cam­paigns like Dont­BankOn­The­Bomb to more active protest.
