Today a rolling block­ade by local activists stops work.
Work stopped by pro­test­ers for the fourth day.

In Tre­banos, near Swansea, local activists and cli­mate action groups have been stop­ping work on the huge LNG pipeline cur­rent­ly being con­truct­ed there, and planned to stretch from Pem­brokeshire to Glouces­ter.

A camp was estab­lished ear­ly on mon­day morn­ing occu­py­ing part of a pub­lic foot­path and block­ing access to one of the work sites.

TODAY, in near­by Cil­frew, a rolling block­ade stopped work on the site of the Pres­sure Reduc­tion Sta­tion.

A dis­used pub, near the route of the pipe has been squat­ted, and renamed the Pipe and Slip­pers, the own­er has now giv­en per­mis­sion for activists to stay there as sup­port for the camp.

Local resis­tance to the pipe is enor­mous. More peo­ple are need­ed all the time. Plen­ty of scope for all kinds of action. Food and places to stay are plen­ty­full. Come and get involoved.
